Microsoft Employees Disrupt Wii U Best Buy EventsRemember how Nintendo was showcasing some of their E3 games at participating Best Buy stores around the country? Well, apparently Microsoft employees have been hired to go to these events and preach about the Xbox One and make comments like "why would you buy a outdated Wii U when the Xbox One is right around the corner?"
However, the employees aren't getting what they hoped for. Most customers just start bashing the Xbox One in response. Seriously, Microsoft, the people attending these Best Buy Wii U events are people who are intimately familiar with the crap you pulled at E3. They ain't takin' your shit.
At first I thought this might just be a case of one really loyal Microsoft employee taking matters into his own hands (especially since the original source was /v/), but reports have come in from numerous Best Buy's around the country that indicate many Microsoft employees have ambushed the demo lines trying to persuade people to switch to the Xbox One.

There are two ways to write a novel. Plotting (you make an outline, a plan, a roadmap if you will, and then you sit down and write it) and pantsing (you write "by the seat of your pants, throwing caution to the wind). So when I get asked if I'm a plotter or a pantser, I'm all like er, uh, hold on, let me? Pantser? I think? But I kind of, um, do planny things?
And it gets kind of awkward because in these inarticulate moments I have managed to confuse everyone including myself. And probably spilled a drink.
In recent discussions, however, I've had a bit of a revelation, silly as it is. I've realized that I -- like many writers -- am a plotter/pantser hybrid. And perhaps what I'm doing is something we could call Pantsing Responsibly. And, maybe, just maybe, I could share some of my responsible pantsing tips with other writers. I've come out against used game sales and even written a journal about boycotting GameStop because (like most people at the time) I believed they were the root cause of all the problems the video game industry has. This is just some information/mini rant regarding art trades~
Please, take note.

I do not mind art trades at ALL.
As a matter of fact, I welcome them~ Here's what to expect if you art trade with me.
I do art trades on MY time. If we're doing an art trade, I WILL get to it. Admittedly, some will be done quicker than others, some slower than others.
I have a life, I have things that I want to do for myself. I have other important things that sometimes need my undivided attention.
If that's an issue, then that's a problem you'll have to take upon yourself.
Everyone is different.
Just because you previously had a trade with someone who provided you with their end of the deal in a half a day doesn't mean I'm going to.
Do not expect me to be like 'that other artist'. I'm me. I do things my way~

Because this is a shared account, sometimes notes or comments get over looked (and that is rare). So, I do not mind if you send me tons of comments, notes, etc, regarding your trade. I love questions, so feel free to message me whenever. If you're having an issue or are curious, just state it to me. I really don't mind at all (I don't bite hard all the time). I'm a gentle creature~ I promise. I'd rather receive a million questions than to have you assume I'm being an asshole because I haven't done things to your expectations.

I like taking trades myself, but I don't do them as quickly as I used to, for various reasons (mainly... quality issues and/or general laziness), but I do get my end out.

It's not just trades with me, it's drawing for others in general. I've been trying to fix that as of late. I do understand where you're coming from about this

Taking time is always a good idea. And everyone should always work at their own pace and not be rushed, art always comes out best that way. I had that happen when I was doing request art, which I think sucks even is even HARDER to handle, thankfully it's a choice thing with requests and I was able just to decline after a while and not feel guilty. >.<

But chyeah! I agree and you need to do your thing and take your time on them. Heck I have one myself I have yet to post/even finish for Sambees. Mind you it's super old and before I was active I set it up. But I'm still hacking away to come up with the best possible trade for the artist.

He doesnt get artists block x.x or that i have other things to do and that i have to be in the mood to draw. Its especially hard to draw for him when what hes telling me to draw gives me no inspiration. I have to like the art for it to work to unfortunetly. otherwise no matter how hard i try its shit. because i dont feel the need to make it the best it can be like i do when im drawing for myself, because something has inpired me to draw them. Anywho i ranted sorry xD
